Potatoes with Jeera

Ingredients:

  • 2 potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch squares
  • 1/2 tsp of whole cumin seeds
  • 1 chopped green chillie
  • chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/8 tsp tumeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2-3 tsp oil

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in pan on medium heat
  2. Add the cumin seeds
  3. When the seeds change color, add the potatoes
  4. Mix briefly, add the other ingredients, except the coriander leaves
  5. Stir for about 2 minutes
  6. Lower heat to med-low and allow to cook uncovered
  7. Once cooked, add the coriander leaves and serve
