Cumin and dill salmon skewers

Cumin and dill salmon skewers

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb salmon
  • 1 teaspoon powdered garlic
  • 3/4 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon amchoor (dried green mango powder, if you don’t have it, it’s okay to leave out)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Anywhere from 1/2 teaspoon to 2 teaspoons of dill, depending on preference (fresh is best, but dried also works well)

Instructions:

  1. Mix all of the spices.
  2. Cut salmon fillet into 1 inch thick cross sections, put on bamboo skewers.
  3. Spray fish with oil, and sprinkle spices on both sides.
  4. Grill at 400 degrees, first side for 2 minutes (start timing after you put all the pieces on the grill) and 1.5 minutes for second side.
