Chaat Salad

Ingredients
- 1 can of chickpeas
- Arugula, spinach and/or whatever leafy green you prefer
- Half a red onion
- Juice from half a lime
- Chaat masala
- Cumin powder
- Amchoor powder
- Red chili powder
- Yogurt
- Tamarind chutney
- Cilantro
- Sev (optional)
Instructions
- Finely chop onions and cilantro
- Rinse chickpeas from can
- Marinate chickpeas, onions and cilantro in the lime juice, plus chaat masala, cumin powder, amchoor powder and chili powder to taste. Add salt if needed (depends on what chaat masala mix you’re using). Let sit for 10 min (or longer if prepping other food).
- Mix yogurt and tamarind chutney together to make a dressing (ratio to taste). Can add lime juice or water to loosen up if needed. Add a pinch of salt.
- Toss salad ingredients.
- Garnish top with sev if you have it.
