Green chutney

Green chutney

Ingredients:

  • 2 bunches of cilantro
  • half an onion
  • 2 teaspoons of chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger paste
  • tablespoon of lemon juice
  • handful of mint leaves (optional)
  • 1/2 a teaspoon of sugar
  • 1/2 a teaspoon of cumin powder
  • salt to taste (start with 1/2 teaspoon, add more if necessary)
  • green chili to taste

Instructions:

  1. Can use a blender, magic bullet, nutribullet, vitamix etc, whatever you have.
  2. Start by blending the onion and lemon juice.
  3. Then throw everything else in. If using a blender, take the leaves off the stems, if using something more powerful you can leave the stems in.
  4. If using a magic bullet, the grinder blade works better.
  5. Can add a little bit of water if the blender is getting stuck.
  6. Once everything is blended, let sit in the fridge for a couple of days, the flavor will improve.
